This Privacy Policy explains how Sarto ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our app and website (the "Services"). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.

1) What we collect

• Device/app identifiers: We may generate or receive an anonymous identifier (for example, a randomly generated UUID) to operate the app and prevent abuse.
• Usage and diagnostics: Basic logs (e.g., feature usage, errors, timestamps) to keep the Services reliable and improve performance.
• User content: If you upload photos for analysis or create a share link, we process the images and related analysis data you submit.
• Payment/subscription info (if applicable): If you purchase a subscription, payment is handled by our payment/subscription provider. We receive status signals such as whether your subscription is active, but we do not store your full card details.

2) How we use information

• Provide core features (outfit planning, outfit checking, saving results, sharing results, shopping recommendations).
• Maintain security and prevent fraud/abuse.
• Improve the Services (debugging, analytics, feature development).
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.

3) Sharing and third parties

We may use third-party service providers to operate the Services (for example, hosting, databases, analytics, AI processing, payments). They may process information on our behalf, under contractual obligations to protect it.

• AI processing: If you submit text or images for analysis/generation, those inputs may be processed by AI providers.
• Payments/subscriptions: Subscription status may be managed by a payments/subscription platform.
• Hosting and storage: We store data in secure infrastructure providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

4) Shared links and images (3-day availability)

When you use the Share feature, we create a public link that can be viewed by anyone who has the link. Photos shown on the shared page are stored and accessible for up to 72 hours (3 days), after which the shared link and its contents are scheduled to expire and become unavailable.

Please only share content you are comfortable making accessible via a link for that limited time.

5) Data retention

• Share links: Shared content is intended to expire after ~72 hours (3 days).
• Saved items: If the app includes a "Saved" or "My Looks" feature, saved results may be retained until you delete them or request deletion.
• Logs: Diagnostic logs are kept for a limited period and then rotated/deleted.

Backups may exist for a limited time and are overwritten on a rolling basis.

6) Your choices and rights

• You can avoid using Share if you don't want a public link.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing us.
• If you are in the EEA/UK, you may have GDPR rights such as access, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9) International transfers

If you access the Services from outside the country where our servers or providers are located, your information may be processed in those locations. We use safeguards where required by law.
